The first time I read it, I was like, “What is gonna happen next to my character?” You’re on the edge of your seat and it just draws you ******* into the story. In my research for playing the role of Martin, I did some rounds at a hospital in Los Angeles. It was immediately ******** that the surgeons are kind of like the rock stars. They kind of go in, get things done, save lives on the spot. Whereas the interns who are going into internal medicine, they’re kind of like detectives; they’re thinking six beats ahead: where does this start, where does this ******, and they’re kind of piecing a whole puzzle together.
